MINISTRY CLARITY UPDATE
Thank you everyone who filled out the survey and took time to come to the dinner and the vision event on 9/30/25. We had a great representation from our congregation and a lot of wonderful input. Our Visioning Team had its first meeting with Eric Kennough on 10/14/25. We are beginning the process of writing the guiding statement. All of your comments and notes from the event are being reviewed and taken into consideration. A special thanks goes out to Barron Ross for taking the lead to organize the wonderful meal. We are truly blessed and God has an exciting future ahead for all of us. Please continue to pray for our church.
Seeking God’s Vision for Our Future
“Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so that a runner may read it. For there is still a vision for the appointed time… If it seems to tarry, wait for it; it will surely come, it will not delay.” — Habakkuk 2:2–3
At Campus Lutheran, God has blessed us with vibrant ministries that truly “Live and share the transforming love of Christ.” Day by day, He is at work among us — strengthening us through His Word and Sacraments, and sending us out as witnesses of Jesus, our Savior.
Like the prophet Habakkuk, we find ourselves in a season of seeking God’s direction for the future. To that end, we are beginning a year-long process called Ministry Clarity.
When God spoke to Habakkuk, He instructed him to write the vision clearly, so that all could see it and run with it. In the same way, we believe that Christ has a vision for our congregation — a vision rooted in His love, one that will guide our steps, and one that will be fulfilled in His time. Our calling is to listen carefully, express that vision clearly, and then live it faithfully together.
To begin, our Visioning Team will invite everyone to participate in a congregation-wide survey. The purpose of this survey is to hear from you — about what makes Campus Lutheran unique, how God is already at work here, and where you sense He may be leading us next. This individual input will then be brought together at a Vision Event, where we will share insights with one another, pray, and begin shaping a guiding statement. That statement will become the foundation for a five-year ministry plan designed to carry us forward in the mission God has given us.

- The survey will launch on Sunday, September 7, and remain open for three weeks. You can complete it HERE, or pick up a paper copy in the Connect Room at church.
- Once the surveys are complete, we will gather for a special Vision Event on Tuesday, September 30, beginning with a meal at 5:30 p.m. Your participation is vital as we discern God’s vision together.
