An Evening of Listening, Sharing, and Shaping Our Future
At Campus Lutheran Church, we believe God is at work not just through a few voices—but through all of us, together. That’s why we’re inviting you to a special evening called our Congregational Creative Event, part of our Ministry Clarity process. This will be a time to gather as a church family for a shared meal, meaningful conversation, and thoughtful reflection on where God is leading us next. The event will be held on Wednesday, May 20 at 5:30 pm in the Community Life Center.
During the evening, we’ll spend time in small groups focused on the key ways we live out our faith together—what we’re calling our Mission Pillars. These conversations will help us better understand where we are today and how we can grow into the future God is preparing for us. You don’t need to be an expert. You don’t need to have all the answers. We simply need you—your experiences, your insights, and your heart for this church. Your voice will directly help shape the goals and direction of our ministry in the years ahead. Come enjoy good food, connect with others, and be part of something meaningful as we listen for God’s leading—together. If you need a ride to the event, please contact the church office.

MINISTRY CLARITY UPDATE
Using the information obtained in our Vision Event Meeting, the Visioning Team has completed its work by:
1. Creating a Guiding Statement (See Below)
2. Creating Mission Pillars by breaking down the parts of our Guiding Statement. Pastor Kent has added text explaining the content of each of the Mission Pillars. (open the PDF below to view the Mission Pillars)
Our Ministry Team is now in the process of creating a Ministry Map by evaluating all of our current ministries and grading each as strong, needs improvement, or consider dropping. The next steps for the Ministry Team are:
1. To interview our staff and leaders
2. Perform a SOAR analysis (STRENGTHS, OPPORTUNITIES, ASPIRATIONS, RESULTS) of the collected data.
3. Conduct a Ministry Survey
4. Draft a Ministry Plan
