“When they heard about the resurrection of the dead, some of them sneered, but others said, “We want to hear you again on this subject.” At that, Paul left the Council. Some of the people became followers of Paul and believed. Among them was Dionysius, a member of the Areopagus, also a woman named Damaris, and a number of others.”
We love our neighbor by meeting them where they are and providing them with what they truly need for life.
We may not be on the front lines of evangelism, yet, each one ministers in love to one another. We are concerned with our co-worker’s health; we care for one another by offering words of encouragement for a job well done. We assist others when we see someone is overtired or overworked. Offers of help are given that go beyond the work place. Some are available to take others to the hospital for treatment or rides to events. Get well cards are passed around for signatures and sent to those who are ill or have missed work.
As Christians we are willing and able to share our faith when we see an opening to do so.
Pray: Thank You, Lord, for the opportunities You give us every day to show Your love and concern. Help us be sensitive to the needs of others and let Your light shine through us. Amen.
